The Wee Pants Story

When the time came to toilet train her first child, this young mum was struggling.  

The reality of juggling a toilet-training toddler and baby was starting to do Laura's head in! Add to that the overwhelming anxiety whenever you leave the house, of leaving a giant puddle of wee (or worse!) in aisle five of the grocery store.  There were undies on the market, but most that claimed to be "absorbent" or "waterproof" were not. In fact, they leaked like a sieve. 

As Laura, a qualified teacher, moved into coaching parents, applying the strategies she had developed through her own experiences, more and more parents came to her with a similar problem. They had started toilet training their kids at home in undies. But when they put their kids in nappy pants to go out to daycare or in the car, their child would start to wee in them.  Not just that, when they got home their kids didn't want to take off the disposables and return to undies.

Essentially, they were back at square one.

 Laura felt that, surely, there must be a way to solve this problem, and to save money on disposables at the same time. She gathered up all her courage and stepped out into the unknown, designing and painstakingly perfecting a prototype for Wee Pants.
